40 films, 2 meetings and a workshop on the second day of “Truth Cinema” festival



According to Khabaronline news agency, citing the public relations of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animated Cinema, on December 19, the screenings of films will start at 13:00 and continue until 23:30 in the different halls of the Charso Cinema Campus and Ferdous Hall of the Cinema Museum. .

Hall 1 of Charso campus

The long documentary “Najibzadegan” directed by Saman Mokhtari will be shown in the national competition section from 15:00 to 17:00. From 17:30 to 19:30, the long documentary “Rozgar Ahmed” directed by Mohsen Ardestani Rostami will be screened in the National Competition and Martyr Avini Award section. The long documentary “Yek Wajab Khak” directed by Nima Mahdian will be screened in the National Competition and Shahid Avini Award section from 19:30 to 21:30. In this hall and in the national competition section, the long documentary “Royabaf and Ghazi” directed by Hossam Eslami will be screened from 21:30 to 23:30.

On the second day of the festival, Hall 4 of the Charso campus will host the screening of the documentary “The Lost Image” directed by Riti Pan, produced in Cambodia.

Also, the workshop “New Imaging Tools in Documentary Cinema” will be held by Aristotle Madaghi Givi from 14:00 to 16:00, the “Social Documentary” workshop by Zhao Liang will be held from 16:00 to 18:00, and the meeting of the Iranian Organ Donation Association will be held from 18:00 to 20:00.

Hall 5 Charso

The long documentary “One Hundred Years of Evolution” directed by Abbas Saleh Madrasei will be screened in the non-competition section from 13:00 to 15:00. The long documentary “Ploreh” directed by Ali Ahmadi Zarin Kalaei will be screened in the national competition section from 15:00 to 17:00. Also, the long documentary “Rukh” directed by Sam Kalantari will be screened in the national and international competition section from 17:30 to 19:30 in Hall 5 of Charso. The feature-length documentary “Shagard” directed by Jafar Sadeghi will be screened in the National Competition section from 19:30 to 21:30 and the long-form documentary “Professional” directed by Masoud Taheri will be screened in the National Competition section from 21:30 to 23:30.

Hall 6 Charso

In this hall, two short documentaries “My Family Album” directed by Mohammad Reza Norouzbeigi and “Mohammed Irani” directed by Mustafa Mollahosseini will be screened in the Shahid Avini Award section. Also, from 17:30 to 19:30, the short documentary “Nan Sard” directed by Behrouz Nooranipour and the semi-long documentary “Blue Suitcase” directed by Seyed Abdul Sattar Kakai will be screened in the national competition section. The documentaries “Rosem Daryadari” directed by Shahram Derakhshan and “Father” directed by Hossein Homayounfar will be screened from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Shahid Avini Award section. The documentaries “Akbar’s Goal” directed by Hossein Nejad Musa and “Blood, Henna, Gunpowder” directed by Mohammad Salehi will be screened in the Martyr Avini Award section from 21:30 to 23:30.

Ferdows Hall of Cinema Museum

Feature documentaries “Fatemi” by Amir Hossein Sayah and Farshad Asgarikia from 14:00 to 16:00, “Kasht and Khoon” directed by Aqeel Jamati from 16:00 to 18:00, “Leme” directed by Farshad Fedaiyan from 18:00 to 20:00 and “Sangar Haft Tepe” Directed by Ali Zuhairi, they will be screened from 20:00 to 22:00.

The 18th International Iranian Documentary Film Festival “Cinema-Ghekrit” under the direction of Mohammad Hamidi Moghadam will be held from December 18 to 25 at Charso Film Campus.
