Trust cinema Saeed Khani, the producer, cinematographer and director of “Khane Film” said to Etemad: “I think the sales of cinemas this year are much better than last year and we are witnessing a better box office of films.”
Regarding the reason for his speech, he added: Last year, the sales of cinemas were divided between two films, but this year the situation has changed and the sales are divided between many films, and this has made cinemas to have more audiences and to see the sale of more films. Of course, comedy films have a larger audience and the box office belongs to comedy films.
Khani explained about the weakness of the box office of social films and why: Unfortunately, until the conditions for making social films suitable to the day of the society are not provided, social films will not be successful at the box office. So, we hope that social filmmakers will be given more opportunities to make new subjects in the new government so that we can witness the prosperity of social cinema.
