The beginning of Iranian film week in Bosnia and Herzegovina


Trust cinema – According to Isna, in the opening ceremony, which was held with the presence of Ansari, Iran’s cultural adviser in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Effendi Dino Maksumic, the chief imam of Mostar, and Seada Kushtrich, the head of the board of directors of the National Theater of Mostar, Kushtrich gave a speech on behalf of the cultural authorities of Mostar. .

Referring to the active cultural presence of Iran in the city of Mostar and the implementation of numerous programs in various cultural spaces of Mostar, including the National Theater and the Puppet Theater of the city, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mostar National Theater considered the holding of the film week as a significant event for the people of the city of Mostar.

Referring to the high status of Iranian cinema in the world, he said that holding this film week is a good opportunity for the people of Mostar to learn about the rich Iranian culture and said: “I am happy that the National Theater of Mostar hosts one of the richest cultures in the world.” Iran is the cradle of culture and I hope that such cooperation will expand.

Acquaintance of Mostar people with Iranian culture and art

Referring to the historical and cultural ties between the people of Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the cultural advisor of our country pointed out the success of Iranian cinema at the international level and considered the holding of this film week as an opportunity to strengthen the familiarity of the people of Mostar with Iranian culture and art.

He considered the main characteristic of Iranian cinema to attract audiences without using the usual tools of world cinema, such as showing violence, instead emphasizing moral principles and respect for family and human values.

In the continuation of this ceremony, the movie “Romanticism of Emad and Toubi” directed and written by Kaveh Sabbaghzadeh was shown.

On the second night of this movie week, the movie “Hanas” will be shown on the subject of the life of Shahid Rezainejad, a nuclear scientist of our country. This film is the narration of the romantic efforts of the wife of martyr Rezainejad to get her life out of anxiety and turmoil, and at the same time, it shows the high character and courage of this nuclear elite of our country.

In this event, four movies including “Romanticism of Emad and Toubi”, “Hanas”, “Sara and Aida” and “Painting Pool” will be screened in four days.

The week of Iranian films and Iranian photo exhibition will be held today from October 30 to November 3 at the National Theater of Mostar.

This program was organized by the cultural consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bosnia and Herzegovina and with the cooperation of the Mostar National Theater, the General Department of Media Cooperation and Virtual Space of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications, the Soura Cinematic Organization (affiliated to the art field) and the Farabi Cinematic Foundation.
