Fereydon Jirani became the head of the Directors Association


Etamad Cinema, In the recent meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Cinema Director’s Association, Mohsen Amiryousefi resigned from the chairmanship of the association due to his presence on the board of directors of Khane Cinema and according to the law, and Fereydon Jirani assumed the presidency of the directors’ association unanimously.

Fereydoun Jirani thanked Mohsen Amiryousfi for accepting the association’s representation in Khane Cinema elections, praised his eight years as president in three terms of the board of directors of the Iranian Cinema Directors Association, and congratulated him on his election as the vice chairman of the board of directors of Khane Cinema.

While thanking and congratulating Fereydoun Jirani, Mohsen Amiriousfi said that until the end of this term, he will continue to perform his trade duties alongside the members of the Board of Directors of the Directors’ Association, and despite the suggestion and insistence of the Board of Directors, he did not accept a new responsibility in the Directors’ Association.

In this election, Mohammad Reza Arab was nominated as the vice president, Maziar Miri as the speaker, Vahid Mousaian as the treasurer and Danesh Aqbashavi as the secretary of the Iranian Cinema Directors Association.

Iranian Cinema Directors Association was established in 1368 and is one of the oldest and leading branches of cinema.
