“Mr. Actor: The Life and Works of Ezzatullah Tazami” was written by Hoshang Golmakani and published by Roznekar and Qatre publications.

In a section of the book, we read: when he reads the script, he is constantly taking notes and annotating. Even for scripts he doesn’t want to act in, he does the same; That said, these are suggestions to make these scripts better, anyway… no matter who plays them next. But with the scripts in which he accepts the offer to play, he constantly struggles, writes, marks, writes the sentences he wants instead of the script sentences, reads them and repeats and changes many times. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and see that he is not there and I hear his voice from his office whispering to himself. I go and see that he is writing. I will let it finish; Then he says that he remembered something or a sentence in his sleep, woke up and wrote it down.
