Trust cinema Zahra Behrouz-Azer, from the Presidential Office of Women and Family Affairs, met and talked with Elham, the actor of the documentary “Chav” and his family in the Charso campus.
According to this report, “Ilham” is a blind mother who suffers from special circumstances during her twin pregnancy and is forced to make a difficult decision, and this choice creates painful emotional and psychological conflicts for her.
“Mahdia Sadat Mosur” (the producer, most of her work is in the field of women and family) accompanies her and from the third month of pregnancy until a few months after the birth of her child, she accompanies Elham and her family, and by making a documentary called “Chav” The narrative records those days of inspiration.
Taking a deep look at the concerns, fears and hopes of women with special needs, this film has dealt with the unique experience of motherhood and has depicted the efforts of this mother to maintain the family bond and fulfill her role as a mother.
“Elham” along with his wife, son and brother were present in the screening of this documentary for the first time.
In this meeting, Zahra Behroozazer, Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, expressed her gratitude for Elham’s influential role-playing, and emphasized the importance of narrating the lives of women with special needs and showing their efforts in facing life’s challenges.
He added: “Chow” documentary is an outstanding example of the power of cinema in portraying real and human experiences that can have a deep impact on the audience.
In the continuation of this meeting, Behrouz Azar emphasized on supporting the production of such documentaries and stated that the representation of such narratives can help increase public awareness of the concerns and capabilities of women with special needs.
The 18th International Festival of Iranian Documentary Films “Cinema-Ghekrit” has started from December 18th and continues until December 25th under the direction of Mohammad Hamidi Moghadam in Charso campus.
