to report Trust cinema According to the public relations of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animated Cinema, the commemoration ceremony of Nasser Mamdouh Dublor and the presenter of documentary works was held on 22 Azar today at the 18th “Truth Cinema” festival. The event was attended by the festival’s secretary, Mohammad Hamidi-Moghadam, Maryam Nishiba, Nasrullah Madqalchi, Khosro Shamshirgaran, Abbas Nabati, Negin Kianfar, Manouchehr Zindadel, Farzad Hosni, etc.

Mamdouh kept the special character of the documentary

At the beginning of this ceremony, Hamidi-Moghadam said: Some may ask what is the connection between the documentary festival and Nasser Mamdouh? Actually, this was a personal and nostalgic choice for me. When I was making programs on television, the essence of the programs was about cinema, and one of the most influential aspects of those programs was sound. With Professor Maryam Nashiba, we started those programs in 1975.

With a quote, he said: Mr. Mamdouh preserved the special character of the documentary and the connection between the audience and the documentary on TV was realized through the magic of this professor’s voice. In fact, this communication of the audience with television documentaries is owed to a group of narrators.

The secretary of the festival emphasized: What makes me sad sometimes is how to choose a replacement for these elders. I hope that the young generation will continue the path of these loved ones. The important feature of this brilliant generation is that they had knowledge and study, and this feature should continue in the young generation as well.

In the end, Hamidi Moghadam said: Today we are honoring a teacher who, in addition to being a speaker, is also a great teacher and human being who taught many dublars. I would like to thank Professor Mamdouh for being proud with all the hardships and being with us today. It is our honor to appreciate you for the efforts you made for the culture and art of this land. Professor Mamdouh, you are the treasure of our culture and art.

Next, a video of Nasser Mamdouh’s life and his work process was broadcast to the audience in dubbing directed by Abulfazl Tawakli.

Researcher and voice-over actor Abbas Zahidenzadeh stated in the continuation of this meeting: Mr. Mamdouh’s first dubbing was in the movie “Zandebad Zapata”. Not long ago, I listened to that dubbing again and it was really a good job at the same time because his voice has a special quality. The main brilliance of Mr. Mamdouh was on television and they had this feature of making their voice close to the character of that role, that is, they understood the role and communicated with it.

He added: Mr. Mamdouh reached the dubbing management stage very soon and dubbed very good movies and his voice was pleasant and believable for everyone.

At the end, Zasinzadeh stated: He has a kind, friendly and pleasant voice. Many movies and series had more audiences due to the presence of Mr. Mamdouh and others, and people liked to watch those works several times. Mr. Mamdouh is very familiar with Persian literature and during dubbing, he used words that the audience could relate to.

Veteran voice actor Saeed Mozafari said in the continuation of this program: When I came to Shahab Studio, Mr. Mamdouh was the first person I became friends with. Honestly, we have to say that there used to be conditions in dubbing that are no longer available today.

He emphasized: Today’s films are no longer the same as in the past, and those sympathies do not exist either. I always believe that the dubbing work should be in the hands of the private sector and not the government because the private sector should be responsible to receive more work.

Mamdouh’s ethics and behavior have been admired

Abbas Nabati, another veteran voice actor, was the speaker of this ceremony and referring to Nasser Mamdouh’s moral character, he said: I have never seen or heard anyone say that Mr. Mamdouh was immoral on such and such a day. His morals and behavior have always been admired by everyone. They always have a smiling face, even now!

He continued: 60-70% of the success of those who enter the voice work is related to the quality of their voice. In the past, we had 100 dubbers, but now there are 3,000 people working in this field, but none of them have a special and lasting sound. Those who progress in this field more if their voice is special and the audience unconsciously enjoys that voice. Mr. Mamdouh’s voice is also of this type.

In the end, Nabaty pointed out the need to strengthen the private sector and noted: Today, the private sector must do something because when the private sector imports a film and supervises its dubbing, the result will definitely be better.

Iranian dubbing will not be corrected until the speaker is motivated

Khosro Shamshirgaran Dublor said in the continuation of this ceremony: Iran’s dubbing will not be improved until the announcer is motivated. A speaker who is not motivated will get nowhere. You create motivation, good and capable speakers will definitely be added to this field.

In the end, he said: Mr. Mamdouh has a calm, dignified, unobtrusive and very kind personality. I hope that we will celebrate your centenary.

Mamdouh is free from any negative aspects

Maryam Nishiba, voiceover and announcer, pointed to the program “Little Good Night” and stated: “Little Good Night” is my love and soul. This program has been going on for 33 years and it is interesting to me that sometimes adults also pay attention to this program.

He said: Mr. Mamdouh is a very kind person and free from any negative characteristics. When I was sitting next to him, I was really stressed to reach his work level. I hope they will be under the protection of God for many years.

In the continuation of the ceremony, with the presence of Mohammad Hamidi Moghadam, Khosro Shamshirgaran, Negin Kianfar, Abbas Nabati, Ables Sahidzadeh, Saeed Mozafari, Nasrallah Madqalchi, Hossein Sahidzadeh, Morteza Razzaq Karimi, Mokhtari, Manouchehr Zindadel, the plaque and badge of the Cinemahegurit Festival were awarded to Nasser Mamdouh.

The field of dubbing is deteriorating

Nasser Mamdouh then stated: I worked for 63 years. I am not unhappy with my work, but unfortunately this field is deteriorating. Officials should think. Today, underground groups work with no facilities. Groups that are young and educated but unfortunately go astray.

In the end, he said: I love everyone and I don’t mind if someone says bad things about me. All my friends complimented me and I was really ashamed of them all. I am glad to be here tonight and to talk to you.
