Cinema Trust A new book, Dianarama, is due to be published later this year, revealing new documents and details of the historical scandal of Martin Bashir’s interview with Princess Diana.
According to ISNA, the book “Dianarama: Deception, seduction, Lodge: Betrayal of Princess Diana” by Andy Webb includes unseen documents and material on the scandals of the methods that the BBC Martin Bashir BBC journalist has used to arrange that interview.
An investigation in year 4 showed that Bashir had faked documentation for this historic interview; An interview in which Diana honestly talked about the collapse of her marriage and her struggles with Bouemia (nervous overeating disorder).
The book is said to have been written in collaboration with Diana’s younger brother Charles Spencer. According to the findings, Bashir arranged an interview with Diana by showing fake bank bills to Spencer; Documents showing that some people received money from princess for espionage.
However, Diana wrote in a note on December 5 that he “with his consent without any pressure” participated in the panoramic interview and “he has no regrets.”
According to the publisher, the author of the book, Andy Web, has “unprecedented access to confidential documents and key actors in the Diana family as well as in the BBC.”
The former BBC reporter began the “disclosure of Bashir’s deceit”. He previously directed a documentary on Bashir’s methods that was broadcast on the British Channel 4.
The Web also submitted a BBC information release request in year 3 and received more than 5 emails, including about 6,000 pages of documents exchanged between BBC managers about Bashir.
In an email dated October 5, a lawyer informed the editor of Panorama that the BBC at that time “did not publish all internal research documents.”
Web said the BBC has “explicitly admitted that it has hidden documents”, which means “widespread”.
The book publisher said in a statement when purchasing publishing salaries:
“Dianarama is one of the biggest scandals in the history of media and public life that unveils a widespread way of hiding and questions about it continues.”
The book “Dianarama: Deception, seduction, Layer: Betrayal of Princess Diana” will be published by Michael Joseph Publications (from penguin subsidiaries) on November 7 (exactly 5 years after the interview).
