According to Bloomberg, the film’s Indian writer and director claims in court documents: “The basic story, characters, themes, atmosphere, setting and sequences of ‘Mixed Game’ are remarkably similar to ‘Iqbal’, which makes It is not possible for the similarities to be coincidental.”
Netflix reacted by releasing a statement saying: “This claim has no basis. “Hwang Donghyuk is the creator of ‘Composite Game’ and we will defend ourselves against this accusation.”
A few years ago, Indian viewers of the movie mentioned the similarities between these two titles on X social network. The second season of “Mixed Game” will be broadcast in 2025.
