The 250th episode of the “Nardban” TV show will be aired today, Friday, September 23, on the Sima documentary network, and it will welcome the National Cinema Day from the perspective of documentary filmmakers.
Mehrdad Zahedian, the head of the Association of Documentary Cinema Directors, is the main guest of this part of the program. In a conversation with Hamed Shakibania, he talks about trade union issues in documentary cinema, the concerns of documentary cinema directors and the challenges facing this field of cinema.
It was in December of last year that the new members of the board of directors of the documentary cinema director’s association were introduced and Mehrdad Zahedian was elected as the president of the association with the consent of all these members. Pursuing the union demands of documentary cinema directors is one of the main responsibilities of the association, which is discussed in this part of the ladder.
