According to the public relations announcement of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, these eight films of the Farabi Cinema Foundation have been produced with the participation of the private sector or cultural institutions, and they are being prepared to participate in this year’s Fajr Film Festival under the direction of Manouchehr Shahsawari.
The Farabi Foundation has also stated that in continuation of its facilitation policy, it has so far prepared eight films in different genres to participate in the Fajr Festival, and it is possible that some more films will be added to this list in the coming days.
Therefore, “Sayad” directed by Javad Afshar and produced by Mohammad Reza Shafiei, “Esfand” directed by Danesh Aqbashavi and produced by Mohajer Tohidparast, the documentary film “People Across the River” directed and produced by Habib Ahmadzadeh, the documentary film “Shefa Hospital” directed by and produced by Morteza Shabani, “Call me beautiful” directed by Rasool Sadr Aamili and produced by Seyed Maziar Hashemi, “Harchi To Begi” directed and produced by Morteza Atashzamzam, “Bambolk” directed by Arash Meiriyan and produced by Behrouz Mofid and “Dokhtar Barqi” directed and produced by Hossein Zwanat are in this initial list.
Among these films, Sadr Aamili’s new work is adapted from the book “Ziba Sadim Ken” written by Farhad Hassanzadeh and the film “March” also narrates a part of the life of Martyr Ali Hashemi.
The Farabi Foundation mentioned in its report that the films “Harchi Tu Begi”, “Bambolk” and “Dochter Barqi” were present at the 36th International Children and Youth Film Festival last month.
