Many artists are victims of rumors that are not based on the document, but solely on “their success”. Occasionally a young actor or the arrival of a modern director into an international festival launchs a wave of whispering: “Relationship”, “Back Back”, “With such a closed institution”, “not good ethics”. These often come out of the language of those who are on the way to the same competition and unconsciously compensate for the sense of failure with another.

But this ignorance can destroy the future of an artist or question the artistic credibility of a project.

In some cases, rumors are fed not only from jealousy, but also from the most interesting interests. Independent artists, protesters or critics are more exposed to targeted rumors than others. Some media, consciously or out of dependence, destroy the artist by making ethical, economic, or political accusations to keep him talking. In such cases, the rumor is no longer merely a verbal slip; Rather, it is a calculated project for deletion.

Many Iranian artists fall into isolation, depression or self -censorship after the rumor. Others take care of their creativity to maintain their place. A way to get rid
Fighting rumors is only possible through the media, courageous artists, and public awareness. The culture of research, tolerance and privacy must be institutionalized in the art community. The artist, with all his weaknesses and strengths, is a citizen that needs mental and prestige. If this security disappears, we will not only sacrifice art and truth.
