Cinema Etemad, jury and selection of the first film festival, screenplay and photo of Asman were introduced.
According to the public relations of the festival, the first edition of the film, screenplay and photo festival “Asman” under the direction of filmmaker Mahabadi Ebrahim Saeedi, with an artistic and tourism approach and with the aim of introducing native and local potentials, in three sections of film, screenplay and photo on the 18th Until 21 Shahrivar 1403 at the same time as the National Cinema Day, it will be held in open air at Mangoran Square Plaza and Rostam Bey Pond Complex in Mahabad.
The works of this festival have been introduced to the judging stage by Salem Salawati, Shilan Saadi and Pejman Alipour in the film section, and Tawfiq Amani, Jalal Nasiri and Tarife Karimian in the screenplay section as members of the selection committee.
Also, judging and judging the works of the festival in the film section are Ahmed Al-Sati, Ahmad Bajeri Jahormi and Saifullah Samadian, in the screenplay section Mohammad Ghazrabadi, Jaber Qasim Ali and Khosrow Sina and the selection and judging of the photo section are in charge of Majid Saeedi, Mehrdad Eskui and Jamshid Farajvand Farda. .
“Asman” festival, focusing on the Zagros ecosystem, welcomes the works of artists from the provinces of the Zagros region. This year, this festival will be held regionally and with the presence of artists from 11 provinces of the country located next to the Zagros Plateau in the geographical area of the west and northwest of Iran, including the provinces of Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari, Kohkiloyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Lorestan, Hamadan, Ilam, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, West Azarbaijan, East Azarbaijan, Ardabil, Zanjan will be held in the city of Mahabad.
In the film section of this festival, 60 short films have been accepted in the four fields of fiction, documentary, animation and experimental, and in the screenplay section, 46 works have been accepted to participate in the competition section. Also, the photo section, which is held only as a single photo, has two main sections, including a free section with an anthropological approach and a type of look section with an emphasis on the creative aspects of visual aesthetics and technical features of photography. They are part of the festival photo contest.
The awards of this festival in the film section include the special award for the best biome film of Zagros, the best film of the festival, the best fiction film, the best documentary film, the best experimental film, the best animation film, the best director, the best screenplay, the best cinematography, the best editing, the best acting, The best stage design, the best music, the best sound design.
The awards of the screenwriting section also include a special screenwriting award for the best work on the Zagros ecosystem, the best first screenplay, the second screenplay and the third screenplay.
The awards for the photo section in the free section include the special award for the selected photo with the theme of the Zagros ecosystem, the first selected photo, the second selected photo and the third selected photo, and in the type of look section, it also includes the first selected photo award, the second selected photo and the third selected photo.
Also, official Kurdish music sections, tourist tours and cultural and artistic product stalls have been prepared for the tourists and guests of the festival in the open space of Mangoran Square Plaza and Rostam Bey Pond Complex in order to strengthen the tourism infrastructure of Makarian city and region.
The first edition of the film, screenplay and photo festival “Asman” by the Islamic Council of the city and municipality of Mahabad and the “Lavan Film Makarian” institute and in cooperation with the cinematographic organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, the Center for the Development of Documentary and Experimental Cinema and Animation and the General Department of Islamic Culture and Guidance of West Azarbaijan province will be held.
