Screening of an Iranian short film at the American Film Institute festival

According to ISNA, the list of films present at the annual festival of the American Film Institute was announced, and the short film “Qotar” written and directed by Ali Alizadeh will be exhibited in the short works section of the American Film Institute festival.

The synopsis of this movie is as follows: As a planet approaches the earth, the cows run away from a hut. The owner of the hut also runs away with fear and abandons his paralyzed son. When the cows return, they are plunged into a terrifying nightmare.

The films “Dane Anjir Maabed” by Mohammad Rasooloff and “My Beloved Cake” directed by Behtash Sanaeiha and Maryam Moghadam will also be screened in this film event.

As previously announced, films such as the documentary “The Music of John Williams” directed by Laurent Bouzereau, “Here” directed by Robert Zemeckis starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, “Wallace and Gromit: The Most Avenging Birds” directed by Nick Park and Marilyn Crossingham, “Judge No. 2” “Clint Eastwood’s new film, “Night Dog” directed by Mariel Heller starring Amy Adams and “The Side Room” by Pedro Almodóvar, winner of the Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival, are among the films present at the American Institute festival.

The American Film Institute festival will be held from October 23 to 27 (November 2 to 6).
