This year, 2,500 people participated in this test, and this statistic has grown well compared to last year, and this is the first year in the last few years that all the offices of the association held this test.
According to the Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, he continued: This year, some offices will attract those interested who failed to register for the interactive filmmaking course due to the reception exceeding the capacity of the comprehensive filmmaking course. This course is for those who decide to take a specialized course in cinema in a shorter period of time. The interactive and short-term filmmaking course is teacher-oriented and helps those interested to get to know the world of filmmaking in less than three to four months, and at the end of the course, they can make their own film under the supervision of the main teacher of the course.
Referring to the effects of the meetings of the Tehran Short Film Festival, the vice president of education of the Youth Cinema Association stated: Twenty specialized meetings held at the 41st Tehran Short Film Festival increased the number of applicants and those interested in training courses in youth cinema. These specialized meetings are actually representative of education in the festival, and this makes more enthusiasts attracted to the comprehensive filmmaking course. Also, holding a high-quality short film festival and the presence of young filmmakers or first films made more people interested to choose the Youth Cinema Association to start their filmmaking journey.
Hashemi stated: In addition to holding a comprehensive filmmaking course, the Youth Cinema Association also organizes various courses related to filmmaking for those interested. Currently, due to the importance of the photo section and the more serious view of the association on the field of photography, many offices will hold a comprehensive photography course in addition to the comprehensive filmmaking course. The comprehensive photography course for 6 months will train photographers to enter the job market.
