The complaint of this prominent movie actor is justified because he and the other judges were not informed about the new names because the petition was not empty, and this is disrespectful to the judges of the festival. It is possible that the secretary of the festival can answer and explain that those who are considered by Mr. Shahab Hosseini had nothing to do with the statement and selection of the jury and were introduced separately and with other motives by the secretary of the festival and using his powers.
This justification is not acceptable and the decision to open a shop is against the opinions of the jury and means to weaken it. In the regulations of the festival, the titles of the awards and their number have been clearly defined, and there is no reason for the secretary to become sentimental in the final ceremony and, in his opinion, spend a lot of money in the name of appreciation and similar titles. He called more to the stage.
We remember that in the previous government, Mr. Minister added simorghs to the total number of simorghs in the festival in order to increase the load of the desired political propaganda, and no one was able to protest against him.
I hope that Shahab Hosseini’s warning will be the end of this heresy in film festivals.
