According to Khabaronline news agency, the French Telerama magazine, which is the most prestigious cultural and artistic weekly magazine in this country, has introduced the movie “Silent House” as one of the top six choices of its documentary films.
The Scam Star Awards ceremony was held in Paris on November 29, and the movie “Silent House” was screened at the vrai de vrai festival organized by the association on Saturday, November 30 in Paris.
“Silent House” directed by Farnaz and Mohammad Reza Jorabchian and co-produced by Stephanie Lebron, Joel Maranan, National Film Association of Canada and Al Jazeera Documentary Network, is a joint production of Iran, Canada, France, Philippines and Qatar. The editing of this film was done by Haideh Safiari.
This film, which follows the fate of three generations of an Iranian family, has been present in many prestigious festivals in the “main competition” section and has received many awards. Among other things, it was shown in the 35th IDFA Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival in the Netherlands, and then it won the MITRANI Award in the main competition section of FIPA DOC International Documentary Film Festival (FIPA DOC) in France. Also, this film was among the top five films chosen by the audience of the 30th Canadian Hot Dog Festival and recently received the best feature documentary award from the London Breeze Festival.
