After the publication of photos and information about the transfer of the famous Iranian writer Mrs. Goli Targhee to a nursing home in France, Farhad Dariush, the eldest son of Goli Targhee, gave explanations on this matter.

Farhad Dariush said: “Unfortunately, some people have blamed me for my mother’s transfer to the nursing home, which is not the case.

He added: Every country has special laws that must be obeyed.

In France, according to the law, if children cannot take care of their parents, the government is obliged to take care of them. What happened to us is also in this context.

Dariush explained: I understand that sometimes moving disabled or sick parents to a nursing home can be a good solution, but in general, I hate nursing homes. Just as our parents took care of us when we were infants and disabled, It is our duty to take care of them when they are old and infirm.

He said: Believe me, I have never put my mother in this situation. I love her very much. I fight every day to make his life better and return him to Iran, as he wants.

According to Seyedreza Aurang channel, Bano Goli Targhee (real name Zohra Moghadam Targhee) is one of the most famous story writers in Iran, whose books have many fans.

Goli Targhee was born on Mehr 17, 1318 in Tehran. His father, Lotfollah Targhee, was the manager of Targhee magazine. Goli Targhi went to school in Shemiran and then to Anoushirvan Dadgar High School.

After finishing the first cycle of high school, he went to America. He lived in America for 6 years and graduated in philosophy. Because he did not like life in America, he returned to Iran. After returning, he turned to writing stories.

Goli Targhi married Hejir Dariush, a famous cinematographer and critic, and had two children.

For 9 years, he taught at Tehran University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in the field of understanding mythology and early symbols.

“Pear Tree”, “Beta”, “Grand Lady of My Soul”, “Shemiran Bus” and “A House in the Sky” are some of the famous stories of this writer who has been living in France for many years.

The stories “Beta” and “Pear Tree” by Goli Targhi were turned into movies by Hejir Dariush and Dariush Mehrjoui.
