According to Khabaronline news agency, the secretariat of the 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival published the list of 17 short documentaries that entered the competition of the festival among the 242 works registered in this section without priority and as follows:
1. “Destiny” directed by Yasser Talebi from Sari
2. “Sometimes love is beautiful” directed by Elham Aghalari from Tehran
3. “Black Festival” directed by Arman Qolipour Dashtaki from Shahrekord
4. “Sleeping Beauty in the Sea” directed by Farshid Iranprost from Bandar Abbas
5. “Last Farewell” directed by Ehsan Sabouri from Tehran
6. “Dar Panah Nizar” directed by Habib Alwani from Abadan
7. “Angels” Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasri from Tehran
8. “Halkeh” co-directed by Raiha Mozafarian and Zahra Dasht Beshi from Shiraz
9. “This house and my mother’s leprosy” directed by Navid Sadeghi from Tabriz
10. “Hadi Rostam Bud” directed by Abbas Balochi from Rafsanjan
11. “Pourzal” co-directed by Ehsan Farrokhifard and Maria Mauti from Tehran
12. “Katayoun” directed by Mohammad Naseri Rad from Shiraz
13. “Confidentiality” directed by Shervin Vahdat and Payam Azizi from Tehran
14. “Newspaper” directed by Dariush Najafi Gul from Urmia
Also, three short documentary films as selected works of regional youth cinema festivals directly entered the competition of the 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival, and their titles without priority are as follows:
1. “The Mountain of a Female Narrative” directed by Ribvar Mahmoudpour from Marivan (holder of the statue of the 68th Meshginshahr-Savalan regional festival)
2. “Return to Loga” directed by Mohsen Shirzaei from Zahedan (holder of the statue of the 69th Mashhad Regional Festival – Mehroshid)
3. “Sheror” directed by Parsa Ansari from Tehran (the holder of the statue of the 70th Qazvin Regional Festival – Rajia)
Katayoun Jahangiri, Mehdi Shamhammadi and Moin Karimuddin are responsible for selecting and judging short documentary films of the 41st festival.
The 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival, under the direction of Mehdi Azarpandar, will be held from October 27 to November 2, 1403.
