According to ISNA, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, visited the festival on the fifth day of the 15th Ammar International Film Festival by attending Bahman cinema.

On the sidelines of this visit, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance told reporters: Iran’s theater and cinema scene has found significant domestic talent in terms of human resources.
Special attention to the field of cinema and theater in the seventh development plan
Referring to the seventh development program, he continued: This program has provided opportunities for financial support (especially in the field of Iranian cinema and art). Of course, due to some of the difficulties we had, we could not find proper access to the resources, but we hope that with the support of the consultations held in the government and the Islamic Council, for the next year, the resources of paragraph note 13 due to the change in the budget law It has become more accessible and if this happens, better financial support can be considered for cinema and theater.
Salehi clarified: The second part of the seventh development program is related to trade union support that can support cinema, theater and other Iranian arts. Our opinion is that art trades, including cinema and theater, create an opportunity to mediate between the government and artists. and the more our performance in empathy and cooperation with them improves, more opportunities can be provided for Iranian art, and the preparations for this have also been achieved, and I hope we will see better things in the coming year.
