Trance Malik and 5 years of “Wind Route” editing

Cinema enthusiasts hoped Trance Malik finally unveiled The Way of the Wind in year 6, but recently heard from a person who is well aware of the post -stroke process, indicating that the film has not yet ended.

According to ISNA, promising reports were released last year that the film was approaching the final stage, and it was said that the editing was completed and postcoded was in the sound stage. Even the main actor of the film, Gaza Rohrick, who plays the role of Jesus Christ in the religious epic film, had announced that the film will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

Malik has been filming the film for almost six years, filmed in year 6. According to Matthew Casuitz, one of the cast, Malik has about 4 hours of raw film for “Wind Route”.

The “Wind path” is supposed to depict parts of Christ’s life by representing the evangelical allegories. One of these parables is said to be the descent of Jesus Christ to the world of the dead. Actors such as Matthias Khounrtz (in the role of St. Peter), Gosa Rohrick (in the role of Jesus Christ), Ben Kingsley, Joseph Feynez and Mark Rilans (in the role of Satan) are present in the film.

There have been reports of Leila Hatami’s presence in the film before.

According to World Rail, the screenplay “The Wind” has written Malik itself and Sam Lipman has produced and arranged the film’s music. Jurg Wadmer, who collaborated with the director in Malik’s previous film “A Hidden Life”, is the director of filming the project “In the Wind”.

Trance Malik has a special way to edit its films and tries to find the appropriate poetic rhythm for its narrative and sometimes takes years to satisfy the final version. His free method of editing was sometimes worth the expectation, and the results of those films such as “Tree of Life” and “Red Red Line” have been.

Malik is even famous that he removes many famous actors from his films. In the “Red Red Line”, he completely eliminated the roles of Billy Bob Toronton, Mickey Rork, Vigo Mortenssen and Bill Polman. The same thing happened in the film “To Wonders” and eliminated the characters of Jessica Chestni and Barry Pepper. Christian Bale was also abandoned in “Song to Song”.

John Belzil, who recently published the book Magic Hours: Movies and the Hidden Life of Trance Malik, has interviewed Jack Fishe, an old -fashioned producer of Malik’s work in his podcast entitled “Writers in Cinema”. Fisk is not in the “Wind Route” project but knows the project and says the idea has been in Malik’s mind since the 1980s. He added that Malik believes “the path of the wind” is his most important film.
