We came across bold films/ The eighties generation of creative documentary makers have entered the cinema

In an interview with KhabarOnline, he further said: In this year’s works, we were faced with different types of documentary cinema, and the documentaries had diversity, which made the 18th festival richer than the previous ones. Of course, the place of independent works of independent filmmakers was still felt. I hope the directors of the festival will have a plan for this issue in the coming years.
Ghorbanpour stated that this year’s films were bold works and said: This was the most noteworthy point of this year’s Cinemahekrit festival and it shows that a different generation has entered the country’s documentary cinema. I liked this generation and their look and I think they should be noticed. This year, we even had a humorous documentary at the festival, which received a lot of attention and had a different look.

He added: “The 80’s generation has entered documentary cinema, we should accept their new views and creativity and even encourage it.” These young people have a different and attractive look and their works are not similar to the past works in our documentary cinema, which is a sign of their creativity.
Gurbanpour said: We encountered very good films in the field of environment at this year’s festival. More time is spent to produce these works and they are produced in a more professional manner with more modern and well-equipped tools and facilities, which greatly increases their quality. Considering that this year we encountered very good environmental films, these cases were taken into consideration in the judging. Our environmental cinema is very close to world standards and should have been given special attention.
The judge of the Cinema-Ghekrit Festival said: My point of view in the judging was to select works that are not far from the time we are present in. In the sense that they are not far from the eyes of the audience and the time in which we live.

Gurbanpour said about the overall quality of the works selected in the 18th Cinema Verity festival: The quality of the works of the festival is often what the policy makers of the festival explain. That is, what works they choose to participate in the festival. The policy of this year’s festival was to include more diverse works in the competition sections. Some of these films may not have been to the taste of the jury members, and if we were on the selection committee, we would have chosen other films, but the selection council wanted variety of genres. The director of the festival believed that the “Cinema-Ghekrit” festival should include different views and tastes, and this was the reason for the diversity of the selected works. For example, social documentary works that are made with few facilities were the focus of the festival and were seen among the selected works. So, in the end, it was the policy makers of the festival who chose the quality level of the festival.
