What is the story of Behrouz Afkhami’s script about an 80-year-old Jewish woman?

Trust cinema In an interview with Mehr reporter, Behrouz Afkhami, the director of Iranian cinema, said about his new script: The name of the new script I am writing is “Hannibal’s Command”. At first, I thought that we could make this film this year, but now I think that it will take time to write the script because it is supposed to be written in Hebrew, Arabic and English, and it needs a lot of research.

He explained about the story of this film: This script is about an 80-year-old Jewish woman who was arrested at the beginning of the war. He was handed over to the Red Cross 15 days after he was arrested by Hamas forces. During this time, he was very involved with the Palestinians who were resisting in the tunnels. His behavior at the time was also highly regarded, as he said goodbye to members of Hamas who were handing him over to the Red Cross when he returned so hot, and also launched strong attacks on Netanyahu’s government afterwards.

Afkhami, who started writing this script last year, believes that “Farman Hannibal” has a real and research-based payment towards its subject.

In response to the possibility that this film is going to be made as a joint production, the director of “Arus” said: This film is not a joint production and only Hebrew, Arabic and English are used in this script.

He said about the possibility of foreign actors appearing in “Hannibal Command”: We may use foreign actors in the production of this film. During these years, some actors reacted to the atrocities of the Zionist regime and the United States, such as Susan Sarandon, who has become the leader of anti-Zionist protests, even though she herself is Jewish.

Regarding the release date of the movie “Morning of Execution”, Afkhami said: “Morning of Execution” will be released this fall. Most likely, this movie will be on the screen on November 11, which is the anniversary of the shootings of Tayyab Haj Rezaei and Haj Ismail Rezaei.

He answered whether “morning of execution” can find its audience in the screen? He clarified: Now I don’t care if the audience welcomes this movie when it is released because I believe that these days we make movies because we think we know how to do it and we make movies to fill our free time and not for the audience.

The director of “Shokran” said at the end: “When the population of the country was 50 million people, 80 million cinema tickets were sold per year, but now these audiences have been rejected, and today the audience of our cinema is 5% of the middle class people.” But little by little we can hope because the statistics have shown that the audience in the cities has increased and maybe the cinema situation will improve in the next years.
