According to the public relations of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animated Cinema, the 18th International Documentary Film Festival of Iran “Sinema-Ghekrit” will be held from today, December 18, 1403, at the Charsu Cinema Campus. 32 films will be screened on the first day of the Cinema Hekrit festival. Also, the opening ceremony will be held at 15:00 in Hall 1 of Charso campus.
On the 18th of December, the screening of films will start at 15:00 and will continue until 23:30.
Hall 1 Charso campus
On the 18th of December, the opening ceremony will be held in Hall 1 of the Charso cinema campus from 15:00. After the opening ceremony, there will be a screening of the film “Hanrestan” by Ali Thaghafi as the opening film of the festival from the feature section from 17:30 to 19:30. In this hall and in the national feature competition section and Shahid Avini, the feature film “Khat al-Qaar” directed by Farshad Aktsabi from 19:30 to 21:30 and “The Lost Season” directed by Mehdi Qanawati from the national feature competition section from 21:00: 30 to 23:30 will be screened.
Hall 2 Charso campus
Hall 2 of Charso cinema campus will host 10 films on Sunday, December 18. On the first day of the festival, Hall 4 of the Charso campus will host the screening of the documentary “War Photographer” by Christian Frey, produced in America, from 21:00 to 23:00.
Hall 5 Charso
“Jamal” documentaries, directed by Mohammad Mansour, will be screened in the Martyr Avini Award section from 15:00 to 17:00. In Hall 5 of Charso, there is also the documentary “Lemme” directed by Farshad Fedayian, the feature film of the national competition, which will be screened from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The long documentary “Battle of Najaf” jointly directed by Mohammad Hadi Nemati and Ehsan Shadmani, will be screened in the Martyr Avini Award section from 19:30 to 21:30. On the first day of the 18th International Cinema Truth Festival, the semi-length documentary “The Alchemist” directed by Mustafa Shaban and the short documentary “Uncle Nasser” directed by Ali Tek Roosta will be screened in the national competition section in Hall 6 of the Charsu Campus from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The documentaries “Beyond the Wall” directed by Alireza Hosni and “Bombs Are Coming” directed by Mehdi Maleki will be screened from 17:30 to 19:30 in the Shahid Avini competition section. The documentaries “Ateqah” directed by Masoud Dehnavi, “Maman” directed by Ali Mohammad Sadeghi and “Ahestagi” directed by Farzad Zamani Shorabathi in the national competition section and Shahid Avini from 19:30 to 21:30 and the short documentaries “Golbahar” directed by Mohsen Asgarizadeh and “K Pop” directed by Ali Kothari will be screened from 21:30 to 23:30.
