Why was the Fajr World Film Festival moved to the fall?
When Fiapov (International Film Federation) was for us, it was not the right time, this was a few days after the Cannes Film Festival, and it was confused with the Shanghai Festival. It was a dead time to hold the festival; Because most cinema activists are in Cannes, and one day after Cannes, they did not attend the Fajr World Film Festival.
We have asked to be the last official festival and hold the Fajr World Festival in December. That’s a good thing; Because we can be a good end for world festivals by observing international festivals throughout the year.
The cinema that boosts the private sector also invests
What is the Cinema Organization’s program to restore deserted cinemas to the current cinema cycle?
When the private sector knows that it can be profitable by creating cinema, it is good. Unless the cinema industry does not boost such a boom, one cannot expect the private sector to invest in infrastructure. The formula of previous governments was the placement of cinemas in the business centers to offset some of the costs through the spaces of the community.
We currently have several cities with a population of over 6,000 who are deprived of the blessings of cinema; One of the resolutions of the Supreme Council of Cinema was to establish a cinema campus with the help of municipalities, governors and the private sector. This is one of the approvals to see more cinema boom in cities with the formation of the Cinema Council in each province.
