Cinema Bahram Radan, previously nominated as one of the seven referees of the Iranian Cinema Competition of the 40th Fajr Film Festival, was removed from the jury of the festival.
According to the Public Relations of the Forty -third Fajr Film Festival, Bahram Radan was released by a letter from the Fajr Film Festival jury for the prolongation of the trip.
Bahram Radan’s letter reads: These works, following the previous conversations with the Honorable Festival Secretary, Mr. Shahsavari, was scheduled to be successful with you, but because of the prolongation of the trip and uncertainty I returned to the homeland, I apologize for the nobles of the noblemen. I do and hope that this period of the Fajr Film Festival is a productive year in Iranian cinema.

According to the news, a new member of the jury will not be replaced by the decision of the festival’s secretary and the agreement of other jury members.
