Cinema The director, stage designer and writer Hamed Safai, ended his life after many efforts to stage his theater and fail to attract actors who were expecting millions of wages.
According to thirty -one views, the news was posted on his Instagram page by Keyvan Mehregan, a poet and documentary maker, and in a emotional note, he referred to him as a talented artist whose fate gave him a different path.
Mehregan wrote in this note:
He was a unique artist whose talent was wasted. Neither cooperation with Kiarostami, nor friendship with Ali Mosfa nor his experiences alongside Mani Haghighi could prevent this loss.
He recalled how Safa’s entry into their office enhanced the quality of their works; But one day he went and he didn’t return. Mehregan wrote that Hamed Safai was tired of the conditions around him, and believed that everyone was to blame.
He also pointed out that last year he invited Safai to manage a film, but just before the meeting, he had decided to come and never come.
Hamed Safai, who could reach an important position in Iranian cinema, eventually changed his life and took a different way.
